Houston Living

Houston living is some of the best in the country. You can live how you want in pretty much any kind of apartment–from a sectioned-off house to a luxury high rise apartment. But it’s not just about living wherever and however you want; Houston living also offers entertainment and activities for every tastes, and the economy is robust and still full of opportunity.

Houston Living is Never Boring

There are plenty of things to do in this city, no matter what your interests may be. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the biggest rodeo and livestock show on the entire planet, and lasts for almost three weeks. If rodeo isn’t your thing, Houston living is also good for catching all kinds of music shows.

Most any major American music tour–and many smaller ones–include the city as one of their stops. And what many people don’t know is that the city has a large hip-hop scene–one that’s very influential on other Southern music scenes.

You’ll also find a great zoo, a waterpark, an arboretum and nature center, over 300 city parks–and don’t forget the NASA visitor’s center.

Houston Living is Good for Arts and Culture

All major performing disciplines are represented in Houston, via the towns Grand Opera, the Houseon Ballet, Symphony Orchestra, and Alley Theatre. You can also visit the theater district, which has six performance halls to serve the city’s nine major performing arts organizations. The city also attracts many traveling Broadway shows.

The town sports a Museum District that is home to The Museum of Fine Arts, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and Holocaust Museum Houston, just to name a few. Lovers of modern out will want to visit Rothko Chapel, while those of a more classical or medieval bent may enjoy the Byzantine Fresco Chapel Museum.

Houston’s Future

Houstin has a strong economy with many large multi-national corporations. Only New York City has more Fortune 500 companies! It is also the fourth-largest city in the United States.

That, plus the fact that the Port of Houston takes in more tonnage per year via water routes than any other port–more even than any on the East or West Coast–means that the city is likely to remain important and vibrant for some time to come.

These are just a few reasons why Houston living is some of the best living around, whether you live in a townhouse apartment, a high-rise, or an low-rent, high-quality Houston apartment complex.
